We are delighted to have achieved our ambition of gaining a premium listing on the London Stock Exchange and entering into the prestigious FTSE 100 index. This is a landmark event for the company, which we believe will make us more attractive and accessible to a wider range of investors. We believe that we have brought a unique precious metals company to the London market which has an exciting portfolio of assets, an exceptional team of people with deeply ingrained corporate governance practices, which fully comply with the UK corporate governance code. With a free float of over 50% Polymetal International qualifies on all counts for a premium listing without requiring any exemptions.

Polymetal International is an exciting investment opportunity for the London market and I would also like to take this opportunity to extend a welcome to our new shareholders. Polymetal International’s premium listing on the London Stock Exchange and our entry into the FTSE 100 index is a testament to the Company that we have built.

Polymetal International is a leading gold and silver producer in Russia and Kazakhstan. Since it was founded, the Company has built a focused portfolio of high quality assets with an attractive growth profile by developing new mines, restarting inactive operations and acquiring an operating mine. Our strategy is to ramp up the Company’s production by completing our key investment projects on existing mines, as well as investing to expand our reserve base and production growth. We also intend to establish the feasibility of constructing new standalone mines by 2013 whilst continuing to pursue selected synergistic “bolt on” acquisition opportunities.

Corporate governance is one of the key aspects of our business. Polymetal International has always and will continue to operate to and maintain the highest standards of corporate governance. This is a core aspect and something that will continue to be at the heart of everything that we do.
