Successful completion of the secondary sale of shares on the AIX


Polymetal has completed the divestment of its Russian business on 7 March 2024. Please see the relevant announcement at the link. Operating and financial results as well as other information on this website until 7 March 2024 represent the Group in its former organizational structure, i.e. including Russian business, unless otherwise stated.

Polymetal is pleased to announce that trading in its ordinary shares on the Astana International Exchange (“AIX”) has commenced, effective 24 April 2019. A total of 1,690,440 shares amounting to US$ 17 million were successfully placed in the process.

“The results of secondary sale have exceeded our expectations, with demand shown from both institutional and private investors”, said Vitaly Nesis, the CEO of Polymetal. “I hope that interest towards Polymetal will grow as we become more familiar to the local investor base”.

Polymetal shares are traded under the ticker POLY with quotation and settlement in US dollars, and is fully fungible between LSE, MOEX and AIX. Halyk Finance acted as Polymetal’s lead manager with respect to the AIX listing and is acting as its nominated market-maker on the AIX.
